A blank page can feel inviting, or a little too quiet. Ink is our small answer to that quiet: a character made from the material you would leave on the page.
A shape for the moment
When you write, Ink takes on a pen-like form. When you sketch, a brush joins the page. During voice capture, the character shifts into an audio-inspired shape. These changes reflect the activity happening in the app.
Between those moments, a glance, a blink, or a change of expression keeps the character feeling present. The intention is companionship, not another notification asking for attention.
Part of the paper
Ink belongs to the same visual language as the torn edges, brush marks, and imperfect paper shapes around it. It is one small part of making a digital notebook feel personal.
Room for quiet
Motion should support the work. The character’s gestures are designed to coexist with a page you can read, a sketch you can finish, and the accessibility preferences you choose.
